Claudia Brown-Curry may drop out of race

screamClaudia Brown-Curry has a problem. She’s a teacher in charge for Escambia County School District Sid Nelson teen parent program – which pays well. If she is elected to the School Board Dist. 3, Brown-Curry will have to resign from the school system and take a significant pay cut. Oops!

Brown-Curry was the top voter in the primary (3,729 votes – 47%). She is in a run-off with incumbent Charles Glover (2,213 votes – 27.8%).

Brown-Curry can’t take her name off the ballot and would have to campaign not to get elected, if she decides that she can’t take the pay cut.

She’s praying over her decision now.
