It’s a first. A Santa Rosa County business leaves and moves to Escambia County…though I’m not sure the payroll is equivalent to that of Avalex that left downtown Pensacola for south Santa Rosa County.
Press Release: Clearwire (NASDAQ: CLWR), a leading provider of wireless broadband services, today announced the opening of a new customer care center in Escambia County, Florida at 181 East Nine Mile Road. Employees relocated from the call center in Milton, Florida over the past several days.

As part of the moving process to the new facility, Clearwire donated 410 computers and monitors from the facility to the Santa Rosa School District.

The new facility will house 110 employees full-time and will operate 24 hours a day 6 days a week.
