Clearwire to return $2 million

Press Release: Clearwire today notified members of our customer care teams of an agreement that will transition parts of our customer care operations to TeleTech. We currently have a strategic business partnership with TeleTech Holdings Inc. and this is an expansion of that agreement. Under the agreement:

· TeleTech will be responsible for managing day-to-day customer care services for Clearwire customers.

· Approx. 700 employees, including 380 in Milton, Florida, will immediately transition to TeleTech.

· Clearwire will retain approximately 180 personnel, including nearly 120 in Milton. Those employees remaining with Clearwire are responsible for a variety of back office activities, including operations, workforce management, process management and vendor management among other tasks.

The agreement will help Clearwire increase efficiencies and reduce costs in the company’s customer care organization by leveraging the global resources of a leader in care center support.

The company expects this change to be seamless and invisible to customers calling Clearwire for assistance.

In addition, Clearwire has taken steps today to return $2 million in incentive payments received from the State of Florida, Governor’s Office.
