Climate Impacts Day

It’s never too late to become a more conscious Earth-dweller. 350 Pensacola presents Climate Impacts Day to be held, Saturday, May 5. The events scheduled are to demonstrate the impacts of global warming to demand that participants recognize the urgency to act. Participants are also encouraged to express their ideas for a better future.

The organization, 350.org, has created the Connecting the Dots project to clearly draw connections between extreme weather and climate change. Climate Impacts Day will bring together thousands of communities to take action and highlight the dramatic climate changes that are happening around the world.

The events scheduled will be bicycle safety checks and light maintenance from Bikes Plus along with discussions, lectures and live music.
