CMPA first board meeting a success

Thumbs upThe Board of Trustees of Community Maritime Park Associates held its first workshop Friday afternoon.

The City has loaned Ed Spears as a staff support for the board as it gets organized. Judge Lacey Collier is the chairman.
First actions:

  1. Get an environmental update on the property so that CMPA can apply for permits and grants from the state asap.
  2. Also, start the process to get the necessary permits for the Devillers Wharf Extension on the west-end of the property.
  3. Create a website to keep the public informed and establish email accounts for each board member for CMPA business.
