The Buzz is BP has several oil recovery and clean-up contractors moving into the area to prepare for the crude hitting our shores and waterways. The companies are gobbling up office and commercial space in the area…..do think this has any impact on BP being the speaker at the NAIOP meeting next week?
Of course, it probably doesn’t hurt that Jane Birdwell is working for BP. I had incorrectly posted earlier that she was working for Mindshare, the company handling marketing and public relations for BP and its Unified Command center—based on an earlier conversation with Birdwell. She has since clarified her relationship at the Unified Command Center.
