Collier County makes masks mandatory

After twice failing to pass a mandatory face mask order, the Collier County Board of County Commissioner passed it, by a 3-2 vote, during an emergency meeting this morning.

Effective immediately, face masks must be worn by owners, managers, employees, customers and  customers of businesses in unincorporated Collier County. The face coverings are also required in nonprofits and government buildings that “facilitate public interactions and conduct business.”
