Columnist writes on decline of daily newspapers

papersOrlando Sentinel columnist Mike Thomas writes in his Sunday column (To read: Click Here) about the decline of his paper and other dailies. I think it’s an interesting read, especially in light of the memo from the Gannett CEO. Meanwhile, the Independent News grows in popularity – We’re hot on the college campus, with the under 35 yr olds and have proven our influence on local issues. PNJ still gets most of the print ad dollars, but we starting to get our share.
