The city of Pensacola is offering local auto buffs the opportunity to show off their rides this summer. The city press release is as follows:
Free Opportunity to Showcase Fantastic Cars – New, Retro, Vintage, and Classic
Blast from the Past Summer Concert Series
This is a seasonal music series that kicked off in June and will be held one Saturday a month through September 2012 (see schedule below). The series will feature music from the 1980s on down to the 1950s, as well as costume contests, dance offs, and food and craft merchants. To accent the festivities, the Neighborhood Services Maritime Cultural Arts Division is inviting anyone and everyone with a passion for cars to bring our their baby to showcase to the public. This is a display only event and participation is free. We are accepting cars from all eras for each event.
