On April 1, volunteers from across the community are invited to kickoff National Volunteer Month hosted by Pensacola Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Escambia County, in conjunction with the City of Pensacola.
The event is an effort to recognize the positive impact volunteers make in the Pensacola community and surrounding areas; to thank those who serve; and to encourage other community members to give back. It will feature activities and guest speakers who will address the importance of volunteerism. Refreshments will be provided.
The event will be held Tuesday, April 1st on the lawn of City Hall (rain location inside City Hall) from 4-5 p.m. Attendees are asked to R.S.V.P to volunteer@pensacolahabitat.org or (850) 434-5456×115.
