The officers of the Escambia County Consolidation Commission were elected last night. Two positions have yet to be appointed–one by NAACP, one by Ministerial Alliance.
Former Florida Supreme Court Judge Ken Bell is the chair. Dr. Rick Harper of the UWF HAAS Center is the vice chair and retired Marine Col. C.J. Lewis, who ran unsuccessfully for Pensacola mayor in 2008, is the secretary.
