City Manager Al Coby and Community Development Director Thaddeus Cohen are commending the Economic and Community Development Committee of the city council reject a bid by Palafox 16, LLC (Tosh Belsinger, Joe Endry, Miller Caldwell, Jr., Miller Caldwell, III and David Brannen) for the former offices of Energy Services of Pensacola at 16 S. Palafox.
In November 2006, the property was appraised for $725,000. Endry/Caldwell and friends offered $250,000 on Oct. 28. Their offer was the only response to the RFP that went out in September.
MPIRICAL Development LLC was originally awarded the contract in August 2007 but it failed to execute the sales agreement.
The committee will vote on the recommendation today.
