Council meeting lasts eight hours

The Pensacola held its committee meetings from 3:15-11:00 p.m. yesterday. The city staff appears to be out to wear down, The curbside recycling presentation took 90 minutes. The SBE discussion took 90 minutes. Most, if not all, of the recommendations were approved unanimously.

There has to be a better way to do this. More meetings, more workshops and better agendas. The issues need to be discussed but not in eight hour meetings.
