County invites neighborhoods to plan Oakfield redevelopment, Nov 15

The Escambia County Community Redevelopment Agency will a public meeting to create the Oakfield Redevelopment Plan, intended to facilitate the positive transformation, preservation and revitalization of neighborhoods in the designated Oakfield Redevelopment Area.

The first Oakfield Redevelopment Plan public input meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. at Woodham Middle School, 150 E. Burgess Road in Pensacola. Light refreshments will be served at 5:45 p.m. All ideas and input are welcome as the county works to establish the community’s needs.

Future Oakfield Redevelopment Plan meetings are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017: Analyze, brainstorm and prioritize needs
Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017: Review results and discuss draft plan
Tuesday, March 28, 2017: Final plan presentation

All meetings will take place at 6 p.m. at Woodham Middle School, with light refreshments served at 5:45 p.m. One or more Escambia County Commissioner may be present.
