The judge ruled this morning that County Adminstrator George Touart and the County Commission were being retaliatory towards the Clerk Ernie Lee Magaha by not allowing his 29 employees to move from the old courthouse to their designated office space in the new $20+million office complex. The judge did not find Touart or the County in contempt but ordered them to get the employees moved asap.
The office space has remained vacant while the County and the Clerk have fought over whether the county had establish its own finance department.
