Escambia County reports 3,038 samples were collected in March – Hospitals 327; Drive-thru 2,711. Â However, the drive-thru total for Monday, March 30 is incorrect according to Ascension Sacred Heart—missing at least 120 collections. Inweekly has reported the error to the county.

Hello, Homeless Partners:
In an ongoing effort to provide updated information regarding community resources to support people facing homelessness we have created a new page on our Opening Doors Northwest Florida website specifically for service availability during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through collaboration and coordination of services our continuum of care can take critical action to help support people facing homelessness during this difficult time.
Supportive Service Agencies and Community-Based Organizations that provide necessities to people experiencing homelessness such as food, respite, healthcare, hygiene, prescription assistance, social security, food stamps or transportation are invited to share your information on the COVID-19 Resource page.
Support for the homeless during the COVID-19 crisis doesn’t just entail helping those who are already on the streets. It also includes protecting people who are at high risk of losing their homes because of the economic impacts of the virus. We also invite agencies who are offering housing, financial assistance, rent and/or utility assistance, to share information.
