In an email to students and staff on Sunday, Pensacola State College President Ed Meadows rescinded an earlier mask mandate on PSC campuses that was set to begin today. The policy would have applied to vaccinated and unvaccinated students, faculty, employees and visitors indoors on a PSC campus.
The masks are now only recommended, particularly for unvaccinated persons. However, he announced that  COVID-19 related absences for the unvaccinated for COVID-19 infections or quarantines will not be excused.  Those vaccinated or exempted for medical reasons will have excused absences

AMG Sacred Heart walk-in clinic inside the Walgreens store at 2237 W. Nine Mile Road, Pensacola. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Patients do not need to be established with an Ascension Medical Group physician. However, patients will need to see a healthcare provider who will evaluate them and then be able to provide a COVID-19 test. If patients have testing questions, they can email COVID19testing@ascension.org.
