The Florida Department of Health reports had 884 fewer people receiving their first COVID shot last week than the previous week – from 2,388 to 1,504 – a 37% drop.
Two weeks ago (4/25-5/1), the county had 6,126 people received their first dose. Three weeks ago (4/18-4/24), the number was 7,643.
The county’s first doses have dropped 80% in three weeks.
