CRA Damage Control: CRA attorney reaches out to his ‘clients’

The person that Councilwoman Megan Pratt hired to be the attorney for the City of Pensacola Community Redevelopment Agency has emailed all the CRA board members offering to talk with them individually prior to Monday’s CRA meeting. Pratt hired Sale last summer with the help of former CRA administrator Becky Bray without ever issuing a Request for Qualifications or getting a board vote to sign a contract with his firm.

The legal bills with Sale’s firm are approaching $20,000. He has offered to meet with CRA board members at no additional cost. For many, it will be their first conversation with the Panama City attorney, whose primary contacts have been Pratt and Bray.
