Crist’s running mate had legal problem

Republican gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist chose state Rep. Jeff Kottkamp (Cape Coral) as his running mate last week. The Miami Herald revealed that the state had to pay $50,000 to settle a discrimination suit against the lawmaker,

The aide Sidney Joyce claimed she was fired in July 2001 because she was old and disabled. Joyce was replaced by the 22 year old daughter of a lawyer in his firm.
