Cybersecurity Job Fair / Roundtable Event June 22-23

The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be hosting a two-day cybersecurity job fair on Monday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Tuesday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at New World Landing, 600 S. Palafox St. As part of the job fair, DHS will host a “Cybersecurity Career Development Roundtable” moderated by Commissioner Doug Underhill (District 2) on Monday, June 22, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at New World Landing. Attendees will hear from multiple levels of government about the challenges and opportunities that exist in addressing the expanded cyber threat to businesses, nonprofits and governmental organizations.

Please note that one or more commissioners may be in attendance, one or more City of Pensacola representatives may be in attendance and one or more government agency representatives may be in attendance.

DHS is currently seeking skilled candidates (at any level in their cyber security career) to fill multiple positions at the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integrations Center, (NCCIC) Pensacola Operations Center. DHS hiring officials and human resources staff will be on-site to answer questions, conduct interviews and make tentative job offers. Attendees are asked to bring a copy of their resume that includes relevant experience and outlines key work, volunteer experience and academic accomplishments (transcripts included).
