If the Century Town Council was counting on the Escambia Children’s Trust to help the Urban Development Center pay back its loan ($41K), it’s not going to happen.
In reply to our public record request, Trust interim executive director Tammy Abrams said, “The Urban Development Center was paid $23,143.20 for September services on December 19th,” – which NorthEscambia.com and we have reported.
However, UDC only has one other reimbursement from the Trust – and it’s nearly $20K short:
“They have submitted an invoice for October services for $23,136.34 of which $21,948.34 will be paid next week,” Abrams wrote in an email. “Jet Fuel classes for Elementary students in the amount of $1,188 was removed from the request as ineligible.
