Florida Politics reports Rep. Matt Gaetz has bought several web domains using his GOP primary challenger Aaron Dimmock’s name. Gaetz is using the sites to publicize Dimmock’s record of supporting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
Republican Primary challenger failed to register several internet domains with his name before filing last Friday.
The website AaronDimmockForCongress.com now directs web users to a website with the headline “Meet DEI Dimmock” that outlines past positions espoused by Dimmock in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and promoting DEI practices. The campaign also owns AaronDimmock.com and DimmockForCongress.com.

Parking Costs More
The City of Pensacola-owned parking has increased in rates from 50 cents an hour to $1 an hour, effective Wednesday, May 1.
Parking Management estimates a revenue increase of more than $240,000 and plans to reinvest the additional revenue into the city’s municipal parking products, including improving customer experience, parking equipment, payment technology, maintaining parking assets, and planning for the future. The city’s most recent rate increase occurred in 2007, with rates increasing from 25 cents an hour to 50 cents an hour.
City parking remains free on Sundays — excluding boat ramps.
