Daily Outtakes: Local Gang War?

Is a Gang War brewing? Three young men were shot Saturday afternoon at Northwoods Apartments, 4041 East Olive Road- one is on life support, according to a source close to the family.

  • Pensacola Police reported: “At approximately 4:52 p.m., police responded to a local hospital after one of the victims managed to drive themselves to the hospital after being shot. Officers arrived on the scene and found evidence of gunfire.”

The shooting was done in retaliation for the murder of a 19-year-old on Creighton Road on July 20. A source shared that the shooting wasn’t a drive-by shooting and looked like an assassination. The killer allegedly stalked his victim inside the club.

A suspect in the homicide – Trevoir Vanderhall, 22 – was arrested on Thursday, July 27 in Coweta, Georgia. However, the rumor is that there were three others involved and a family member of the Creighton Road victim called for “their blood.” The Olive Road victims were allegedly hunted down.

Apparently, few have faith that law enforcement – Pensacola Police, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and State Attorney’s Office – will arrest all the people involved in these shootings.

As I was told, “We’re going to take this into our hands.”

I was told that Montclair has become the epicenter for drugs and gun violence in Escambia County.

Where do their guns come from? A source shared that a white man set up shop in the parking lot of the Marie Young Community Center in Wedgewood selling guns that started at over $1,000 each. “He had a line of customers.”

Where do they get the money? The dope boys have moved from pushing weed -“Heroin for the poor white folks, and cocaine for the rich ones.”

The victims of the Olive Road shooting appear in this video that was filmed in an Escambia County neighborhood. An ECSO patrol car makes a cameo.  The guns are real.

[Warning: Profanity, Guns and Drugs].

Will Sheriff Chip Simmons announce an “Operation Montclair?”

I was told that the killing won’t stop, and we should suspect another shooting soon if law enforcement doesn’t defuse this war.
