Daily Outtakes: PAC interference, Calkins, Salzman

coffee money

Escambia County voters finally have something over on Santa Rosa County. Escambia doesn’t have to deal with James Calkins and weird political action committees. However, both counties share interference from the  Committee to Protect Florida.

The Calkins PAC has not only attacked his opponents, Rhett Rowell and Jerry Couey, but also his fellow commissioners.

This week’s text messages:

Richard,
Liberal Colten Wright voted to replace Republican with a Democrat—he’s a Democrat in disguise!

Richard,
Mike Priest is the real deal! Unlike Colten Wright, who wasted taxpayer money on a luxurious Paris trip to watch an Air Show, Priest will cut the waste and invest in our roads and infrastructure. It’s time for real results and accountable leadership!

Richard,
Watch out! Liberal Rhett Rowell, funded by big developers and Home Builders Association’s Jennifer Mancini, is all about pushing overdevelopment. He claims to protect farmland, yet he takes money from those who are pushing to change our way of life. Matt Gaetz doesn’t back Rowell—neither should we. Rowell is also supported by the same liberals behind DEI Dimmock. We can’t trust Liberal Rowell!

America First Alliance has also sent me mailers:

  • Touting Priest and calling Colten Wright a “Republican RINO.”
  • Linking Rhett Rowell to Black Lives Matter, developers and Aaron Dimmock

Meanwhile, State Rep. Michelle Salzman’s super PAC, Committee to Protect Florida, (Salzman_Solicit) has been active in Santa Rosa County, attacking Commissioner Sam Parker’s opponent Bobby Burkett – for benefitting developers, contractors and realtors – and Calkins for his Russia, Russia video.
