Daily Outtakes: Rebekah Jones Movie Trailer

Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning filmmaker Josh Fox (GASLAND, AWAKE, A DREAM FROM STANDING ROCK) has launched a Kickstarter Campaign to finish Rebekah Jones: Whistleblower.

Why this matters: The film documents one scientist’s fight for truth in an increasingly dangerous political climate.

Dig Deeper: Rebekah Jones was fired for refusing to falsify COVID data at the Florida Department of Health. She filed a whistleblower complaint and was attacked relentlessly by Governor Ron Desantis. She continued to speak out even after her home was raided, and she was the victim of relentless online misogyny and harassment.

Scheduled for a late 2023 release, producers are seeking the public’s help in bringing this story about the consequences of truth-telling to audiences nationwide.

The Rebekah Jones: Whistleblower team is fundraising on Kickstarter to finish, release, and tour the film in late 2023. To learn more and to become a backer, visit: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/joshfox/rebekah-jones-whistleblower
