YMCA – $2.65 million – 730 kids
Academics
• 75 % of students improve in reading skill level in at least one measure: i-READY, STAR or FAST assessment.
• 85% will be promoted to the next grade.
• 75% will show progress in SIPPS curriculum.
• 75% maintain or attain satisfactory school behavior, per teacher surveys.
Boys & Girls Club – $2.14 million – 720 kids
Academics
• 75% of regularly attending youth will show gains in English Language Arts (ELA) grades.
• 75% of regularly attending youth will show improvements in Mathematics grades
• 75% of regularly attending youth will improve their school day attendance
• 85% of youth will improve their attitudes about learning.
City of Pensacola – $1.62 million – 705 kids
No Academic Measures based on grades or test scores
• Increase enrollment by 10% annually.
• 90% student retention in the program.
• 90% increase knowledge an appreciation of arts, outdoors, STEM and behavioral interventions
• 80% participate in Boost program to increase confidence in problem-solving and resolving interpersonal issues.
CMB Visions Unlimited – $1.09 million – 180 kids
Measured by pre-tests and post-tests for literacy and school engagement– not school grades or FAST scores or school attendance records.
• Student at the Frustrational level improve to Instructional or Mastery level.
• Student at the Instructional level improve to Mastery level.
• Student at the Mastery level remain at the Mastery level
Dixon School – $900,000 – 1,625 kids
No Academic Measures based on grades or test scores
• 55% of students will show increase verbal linguistic skills and modalities as evidenced by informal and formal pre- and post-assessments and observations.
• 75% of students will show improvement in line reading and memorizing by end of each session.
• 50% of students will show increased detail to their descriptions and enhanced self-expression through their daily journaling tasks.
• Initiation of the out-of-school program in Summer will show a 5% increase in daily attendance in regular daytime school by Fall.
• 75% of parents/families surveyed will confidently describe the value that this program has on their child.
• 75% of students surveyed will identify new means of communicating and show confidence in oral and written language.
James B. Washington Education & Sports – $885,000 – 120 kids
Academics
• 80% of students engaged in the program will be on their prospective grade reading level and have increased one to two letter grades in English &Language Arts.
• 50% of students engaged in the program will increase at least one to two letter grades in math.
• 80% will show improvement in classroom attendance, performance, and there will be a deficit in disciplinary actions.
