Under fire for the more bigoted opinions posted readers to its web site, the daily newspaper has launched a new diversity blog – “Different Voices” – in hopes of giving more diverse ideas a forum in the paper. The main bloggers will be students from the UWF International Studies.
Hope it works to offset the Luke McCoy crowd that enjoys posting their ignorance on pnj.com and gulf1.com…. occasionally on this web site.
Other PNJ blogs that have run by staffers have fallen to the wayside. The most active is the new started by Mark O’brien last month. Using volunteers and students may work this time.
