Victoria D’Angelo has been selected as the Community Redevelopment Agency Division Manager for the City of Pensacola, responsible for planning, coordinating and managing programs and functions of the CRA.
D’Angelo has been with the City of Pensacola since 2017, previously serving as the Assistant CRA Manager, where she was responsible for managing the CRA’s annual budget of more than $10 million. D’Angelo also oversaw the administration of a wide array of community redevelopment projects, including streetscape, multi-modal transportation and park improvements, affordable housing, commercial and mixed-use redevelopment, historic preservation initiatives, land development and urban design.
Prior to joining the city’s CRA, D’Angelo served as Planning Director and Floodplain Manager for Washington County, Florida on behalf of the Emerald Coast Regional Planning Council. She also previously worked for the Escambia County CRA, where she was responsible for management, program and project coordination for the CRA and local RESTORE Act program.
D’Angelo is a native New Yorker and moved to Pensacola, Florida in 2008, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in maritime studies with a concentration in environmental policy from the University of West Florida. She is a strong advocate for context-sensitive revitalization strategies that preserve and enhance neighborhood character while prioritizing walkability, bikeablity, and neighborhood residents and diversity.

As the CRA Division Manager, D’Angelo will work under the direction of Development Services Director Sherry Morris to develop and implement overall CRA strategy, which includes seeking alternative revenue sources for agency programming, overseeing and monitoring CRA property improvement and incentive programs, community outreach, serving as a liaison to government agencies and more.
“We are excited to have Victoria officially step into this role,” Morris said. “With her experience and in-depth knowledge of the individual CRA districts and their needs, I’m confident that under her leadership, the division will continue to improve operations and efficiency, while also building and cultivating new relationships in our community.”
