DeSantis gives City $4 mil for Fricker

Today, Gov. Ron DeSantis awarded more than $247 million through the Broadband Infrastructure Program, connecting more than 59,000 unserved and underserved businesses, homes, farms and anchor institutions like hospitals and libraries to high-speed internet.

The City of Pensacola will get $4 million for Fricker Community Center to renovate an existing facility that will introduce and host on-site healthcare services, education, telehealth, and outreach in a newly-constructed senior center; as well as computer skills training and career counseling in a renovated career learning lab and cyber lounge.
