If you think you’ve got what it takes to create the Pelicans next TV commercial, he’s your opportunity. The Pelicans are holding the “Where Everyone Plays TV Commercial†contest, similar to the Super Bowl ads, for the Pelicans 2007 ad campaign.
Groups or individuals are invited to submit a fully edited and produced 15-20 second TV commercial for the opportunity to win a cash prize, a pair of season tickets, and a Pelicans merchandise package. The winning spot will also be aired throughout the Pelicans season./p>
We believe this is a great way to get our fans and community even more involved in what is truly a community team,†said Pelicans general manager Talmadge Nunnari. “We’re looking forward to seeing the innovative ideas and creative commercials that are submitted.â€
“Where Everyone Plays†is the team’s theme for the season. The theme spotlights the games, promotions and events that happen at and around a Pelicans game and includes the young little leaguer to the young-at-heart and everyone in between.
The deadline to submit a commercial is Friday, March 23 at the Pelicans office located at 4920 North Davis Highway. Every ad will be placed on the Pelicans website for viewers to vote on the best ad. The winning ad will be announced the following week and will first air in April for the Pelicans preseason party.
Along with a cash prize, the winner will also receive two season tickets and a Pelicans merchandise package for the 2007 season. All other participants will receive tickets to Pelicans games.
All interested participants must contact the Pelicans office for contest rules and regulations before production of the commercial.
