The next town-hall meeting in Mayor Ashton Hayward’s ‘Taking City Hall to the Citizens’ series will take place next week in District 5. It is the final such gathering for the year.
The District 5 meeting is scheduled for Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. It will be held at St. John Divine Missionary Baptist Church, 620 E. Jordan St.
Anyone, regardless of their district, may attend the meeting, but discussions will pertain to District 5 concerns. Recently-elected District 5 Pensacola City Councilman Gerald Wingate has also been invited.
