District missed 2018-19 performance goals

On Nov. 13, 2018, the Escambia County School Board approved the district’s Strategic Plan 2018-2019 that set a goal that the district would increase the percentage of students scoring satisfactory (achievement level 3) or higher on statewide standardized assessments to be equal or greater than the state average.

Of the 14 assessment tests, the district only exceeded the state average once – in elementary school science.
