Since May 2004, the Independent News has pushed the concept of a downtown entertainment district. Today we have Seville Quarter, Hopjacks, The Fish House Deck, Suite, Blazzues, Ragtyme Grill, Artissimo’s, Cabaret, Will Call, Ready Room, 600 South, Intermission and Hub Stacey’s all providing music. Vinyl is set to open soon at corner Palafox & Garden and now Sluggo’s is saying that it will open on Jefferson St. where the bakery was.
Add to these music venues: Jackson’s Steakhouse, The Global Grill, New York Nick’s, Dharma Blue and The Happy Pig.
The entertainment dream is becoming a reality.
