Dr. Eman El-Sheikh wins global award

Dr. Eman El-Sheikh of the University of West Florida was awarded the GISEC Global Educator of the Year award at the 2024 GISEC Cyber Excellence Awards conference in Dubai last week. The award recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact in cybersecurity education. GISEC Global is a cybersecurity conference attended by more than 20,000 innovators from all over the world.

Dr. El-Sheikh has made significant contributions to cybersecurity education throughout her career, including launching and leading the Cybersecurity for All Program and the National Cybersecurity Workforce Development Program, CyberSkils2Work.org.
