Press Release: DRIFT invites you to an evening by the Gulf where the briny allure of locally sourced oysters meets the refined elegance of expertly paired wines. Pearls & Grapes: A Wine & Oyster Experience takes place on Tuesday, April 15, offering a light culinary journey that highlights the art of aquaculture and coastal flavors.

Guests enjoy a guided tasting and educational presentation by Pensacola Bay Oyster Co., a company dedicated to producing premium, homegrown Pensacola oysters while championing sustainable aquaculture and water quality improvement.

Tasting Menu & Wine Pairings

Savor three distinct oyster preparations, thoughtfully paired with a complementary wine selection:

  • Fresh Shucked Raw– Topped with a green mango mignonette, served with cocktail sauce on the side | Paired with Mira Me Cava
  • Crabmeat-Stuffed– Finished with a Sauvignon Blanc cream sauce | Paired with Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc
  • The Big Easy– Lightly battered with flour & sweet potato, topped with coconut citrus seabass and sweet potato hash | Paired with Banfi Rosé Regale

Limited seating is available and tickets for the evening can be purchased online at www.driftpcola.com and are $66 (includes hors d’oeuvres, guided class, nine oysters per guest, three wine pairings, and gratuity. Tax & fees are not included. Open cash bar is not included in ticket price.)
