Durham is calling

The News & Observer is calling about Tom Bonfield. Who is he? How is he on crime? Durham may have been overly progressive in its expansion of city services and infrastructure. How would Bonfield handle it? What does his staff think about him?

Also – why has it taken so long to start the Community Maritime Park? Why is Pensacola’s population declining? Why has the city been slow to recover from Hurricane Ivan?

The Durham City Council has gone silent. They are upset that this went public before they could tell the city staff. The council meets today at 3 p.m.
