Tim Eagan – former Marty Donovan campaign worker and the man who wanted so badly to present to the Pensacola City Council his plans for a multimillion dollar development at the Port of Pensacola – faces a new charge – failure to appear. Eagan was charged on Nov. 16 for failing to appear in court. He was scheduled to begin his trial on Nov. 3 for organized fraud and contracting without a license during a state of emergency.
Last month Eagan signed an agreement with the City to not push for a petition, if he was allowed to present his ideas for the Port of Pensacola to the city council. He later went to the daily newspaper claiming that he had been pressured by Councilman Sam Hall and the city staff into signing the agreement and tried to back out of it.
