According to the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections, more people voted at the Early Voting locations than in the 2018 and 2020 primaries —13,292. Through Saturday, the voter turnout is 13.9%.
Based on these statistics, I estimate that once the remaining mail-in ballots come on in, 48% to 52% of all votes will be cast before the Election Day. My guess is about 32,000 votes will be cast on Aug. 23 — giving Escambia County about a 30% voter turnout.
