Eat, Drink, Shop to Win

The Pensacola Beach and Gulf Breeze Chambers of Commerce are working in partnership to host “Beach to Breeze Bingo,” a promotional gaming event, from May 14-28 at about two dozen participating businesses around both communities.

The concept for the game is to boost visitor traffic in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach, which have seen a sharp decline over the past seven months due to the closure of the Pensacola Bay Bridge.

Participating businesses include everything from restaurants and bars to attractions and retail shops along Pensacola Beach and Gulf Breeze. Participants must snap a photo of themselves doing the activity specified at each business or location on the Bingo card.

“We want this to be a fun way to increase foot traffic at our local businesses, so we hope the Pensacola Bay Area community rallies around this,” said Patty Spradling, executive director of the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Anyone wishing to play can download the Bingo card online here. Once downloaded, participants will discover their card’s various business challenges and can upload a photo of each completed square’s challenge on the online Google form.

Every BINGO completed on the card receives one entry into a raffle prize drawing. An entirely blacked out card gets 10 extra entries into the drawing.

Prizes will be given away to randomly-selected participants at certain businesses. Multiple grand raffle prizes will be drawn on Thursday, May 28 at noon at the Gulf Breeze Chamber and will be aired on Facebook live here.

“The Gulf Breeze Area community has always been supportive of its local businesses and we want to encourage families to keep up that momentum,” said Grace Arneault, president and CEO of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce.
