Until Commissioner Gene Valentino or the Chamber releases any new or modified plans for economic development, we’re taking a break. The pro GV side wants to focus on attacking the Chamber or individuals. No one seems to want to give any concrete reasons for supporting the elements of the GV plan that are different from the Chamber proposal. No one from the GV camp has offered any evidence or documentation to support the PEDA structure as presented. No revisions were offered at the BOCC workshop on Tuesday. None of the spreadsheets that Commissioner Valentino mentioned at the workshop have been released either.
Maybe Commissioner Valentino is working a new revised plan. We will wait and see. The PEDC meeting is July 1. Whatever happens, we will report on it.
