Press Release: Escambia Sheriff’s Investigators are seeking a possible witness to the September 13, 2014 homicide of 50-year-old Phuong Nguyen Truong.
The witness is described as a white male in his mid to late 40’s, between 5-8†and 5’9†tall and weighing between 150-180 pounds. He had salt and pepper hair and was in the company of another white male. Both individuals were in a newer model white Honda Pilot with tinted windows.
On September 13, 2014, shortly before 2p.m., Escambia Sheriff’s dispatchers received a call to a shooting that had just occurred at the T M Food Mart located in the 1000 block of W. Michigan Avenue. When deputies arrived, they discovered the deceased body of Truong, the store clerk, behind the counter.
It is believed that the witnesses were in the store just prior to or during the time that the crime occurred, and that they are frequent customers of the store.
