ECUA issued a press release stating it has continued to provide recycling services to its customers for the past month, despite the loss of its local processing facility.
“Through this time, we’ve persisted in our search for a qualified vendor for the processing of recyclables, and now that search is over! We believe that the Infinitus Renewable Energy Park (IREP) is the best facility in the region to meet the ECUA’s recycling objectives,” said the utility.
ECUA has set up a media trip to Montgomery, Alabama, on May 28, for a tour of the newly-constructed Infinitus Renewable Energy Park (IREP). The tour will feature an in-depth look at the IREP technology and its innovative approach to the processing of recyclables and solid waste.
