Eddins elected president

Press release: The Office of the State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit announces the appointment of State Attorney William “Bill” Eddins as President of the Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2011. The Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association (FPAA) is a nonprofit corporation comprised of the twenty elected State Attorneys as well as more than 1900 Assistant State Attorneys. The Association provides education and training through seminars, publications, and technical support. In addition, FPAA works to strengthen the laws and procedures related to the criminal justice system.

Prior to his appointment as President of the Association, Mr. Eddins has served as Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice President. Mr. Eddins was first elected State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit in January 2005.
