Education and safety pull down City of Pensacola ranking, dropping 90 points

WalletHub compared 1,268 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 based on 30 key indicators of livability. They range from “housing costs” to “school-system quality” to “number of restaurants per capita.” The City of Pensacola was #142 on the list with a total score of 63.01.

Last year, Pensacola was ranked 52 – Pensacola ranked 52nd Best Small City in America.

For the 2016 ranking, the City’s Quality of Life rank was 3, but the overall score was pulled down by Education & Health Rank (1091 out of 1268) and Safety (984).
