Escambia Children’s Trust not advancing cash or paying for buildings

The Escambia Children’s Trust Board of Directors met yesterday and made the decision not to advance cash to providers because of concerns over tracking and auditing. The providers must have the cash to pay for its programs and be reimbursed for their expenditures.

The board also voted not to give grants for any construction or renovation costs and will instead focus on direct services to children with Out-of-School-Time RFP.

Here is the memo ECT sent out yesterday – Memo_BOD_Policies_01-03-2023-.pdf.
