Escambia County Caucus

Florida is sending 300 delegates to the 2012 Democratic Convention in Charlotte, N.C. to officially select the Democratic nominees for President and Vice Presidents as well as adopt the party’s National Platform. If you are a Democrat registered to vote in Escambia County, you are eligible to participate in the county Caucus.

If you are registered as a an independent or a different party affiliation you can change to the Democratic Party at the Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 213 Palafox Pl. Changes must be completed by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 27.

Delegates to the State Convention will be elected at the county Caucus. To obtain an application as a delegate to the Florida State Democratic Convention, please contact Cassandra McAway at 432-4182 or mcaway4182@bellsouth.net.
