Press release: Concentra, a subsidiary of Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), announced today it has opened a new on-site medical center for Escambia County employees, their dependents, and retirees. Located in Pensacola, Fla., the new center provides Escambia County with workplace health and wellness services that serve as a valuable addition to the county’s existing health care program, offering benefits to both employer and employees.
Concentra operates the new Escambia Employee and Family Healthcare Center for Escambia County employees, dependents, and retirees. More than 6,000 employees have access to urgent care, wellness, health education and disease-management services, as well as occupational medicine for employees, through the new on-site medical center. The goal of the new center is to improve access to quality health and wellness services, while promoting preventive and well-patient programs.

By opening the Escambia Employee and Family Healthcare Center, we are demonstrating our commitment to improve our associates’ and their families’ health and overall well-being, while reducing their cost for care,” said Amy Lovoy, Escambia County Chief Director of Information.
The Healthcare Center’s hours of operation are Monday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Escambia County selected Concentra as its on-site health-services provider due to Concentra’s innovative health-services offerings, ability to improve access to health care services with custom solutions, and its eight community-based medical facilities located in Florida. Through this initiative with Concentra, Escambia County aims to improve employee access to quality health care services.
