Escambia County is in receipt of a press release from the State Attorney’s Office for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. The release announced the local State Attorney’s intention of calling a Grand Jury to further look into the explosion of the Escambia County Jail’s Central Booking and Detention Facility on the night of April 30, 2014.
Escambia County Administration, County Attorney and staff will continue to fully cooperate with the State Attorney’s Office through this process.
