The voting in Escambia County has remained steady and probably will surpass the earlier prediction of a 25-percent turnout. As of 1:10 p.m., 14,698 votes have been cast today, increasing the primary total to 45,701 (21.8 percent). A big rush to polls traditionally happens between 3-6 p.m.
